ABOUT CLINICS

1.      Venues

Jenny is based just off the M1, on the Leeds outskirts and within easy reach of Leeds Bradford International Airport, York and Sheffield. Jenny Gilmore can also arrange venues for the Lightning Process® throughout Yorkshire and internationally as part of a small prearranged group. This improves access for the Lightning Process® for North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire and international destinations. (Please e-mail for further information)

 2.      Visiting York

York is one of England's finest cities. It has been the capital of the North for nearly 2000 years and has played a central role in English history. Within the well preserved City walls are England's largest medieval cathedral, historic streets, good pubs and restaurants, and many historic attractions and other places of interest.

3.    Visiting Leeds

Jenny is based at the Regus Centre, 1200 Century Way, Thorpe Park Business Park,Colton, Leeds LS15 8ZA, around 6 miles from Leeds City Centre and 10 miles from Leeds Bradford International Airport. 

The Thorpe Park complex is one of the region's premier out-of-town locations. It offers unrivalled accessibility to cities and towns in Yorkshire, being immediately off the new M1 extension at Junction 46 and 1 mile from Leeds Cross Gates station.  This gives great access to the Lightning Process® in Leeds from Cities like Hull, Sheffield, Bradford, Huddersfield and Doncaster.

It boasts a wide range of facilities, including retail outlets such as Sainsburys and Next, and places to eat.  There is a range of overnight accommodation closeby - the Luxury multi award winning Thorpe Hotel and Spa is on the business park, and there is a Premier Inn and Travel Lodge within walking distance.   (For more details contact Jenny).

4.  Visiting Sheffield

The venue in Sheffield is central, with good access by road, and less than 10 minutes walk from Sheffield's main station. There is good shopping, and a good range of accommodation nearby - including a modern and very reasonably priced premier inn.

5. Travelling to York and Leeds

 a)     By Rail

York and Leeds are easily accessible from the North East and other parts of the UK for the Lightning Process®, NLP and Hypnotherapy.

The nearest mainline station to The Thorpe Business Centre, Colton, Leeds is Crossgates which is 1.2 miles (1.9 km) from the venue and easily accessible by taxi, bookable in advance.

Direct train services to York and Leeds City Centre include:

  • East Coast main line between London Kings Cross and Scotland, including Doncaster.
  • Cross Country Services for cities such as Sheffield, the midlands and the South Coast
  • Harrogate and Knaresborough
  • Trans penine services link Liverpool, Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport to the west and Middlesbrough to the north giving easy access to York and Leeds for the Lightning Process® from  Bradford, Huddersfield and other cities and towns across the penines
  • Commuter services for Bradford, Halifax, Hebden Bridge and stations to Preston and Blackpool or Manchester Victoria
  • Scarborough, Hull and, Selby

 b)     By coach

You can travel to York and Leeds from destinations all around the UK. Fares and timetables are available at http://www.nationalexpress.com/

c)      By road

You can get to York and The Thorpe Business Park in Leeds quickly from the UK motorway and A road network for the Lightning Process® from cities like Doncaster, Hull and Sheffield.

(i) York 

Travelling north on the M1 or A1 you'll come to the A64 intersection. The city is 15 minutes away via dual carriageway.

Travelling south on the A1, you'll also leave the motorway at the A64.

From the west on the M62, join the M1 northbound until you reach the intersection with the A64.

York is also served by the A19, A1079 and A166 routes into the city and by park and ride services.

(ii) Leeds

The Thorpe Business park is situated very close to junction 46 of the M1,

FROM M1

  • Leave the M1 at Junction 46
  • Turn left on to the A6120 Leeds Ring Road
  • At the second roundabout, take the Thorpe Park exit which is the third exit
  • The entrance to the business park is a dual carriageway
  • Turn left at the next roundabout (within the business park itself) and Regus is the first building on your left.

    From the A1
  • Leave the A1 at the A63 Leeds turn off
  • Follow the signs for Leeds A6120 Ring Road
  • At the first roundabout keep going straight across
  • At the next roundabout, take the Thorpe Park exit
  • Follow directions from above.

    d)      By air

    Leeds Bradford International Airport http://www.lbia.co.uk/ is 45 minutes drive from York and 10 miles from Colton, Leeds.

    Flights arrive from a variety of international/national destinations, including Düsseldorf, Amsterdam and London's Heathrow airport.

    Taxis are readily available outside the terminal building. There is also direct connection between Leeds City Centre and the airport.  There is a direct hourly coach service to and from York station.  See http://www.lbia.co.uk/ and http://www.yorkaircoach.com/ for details.

    Manchester Airport is one and half hours drive from Leeds and two hours drive from York. There are frequent direct trains. Flights arrive from hundreds of international destinations including Oslo in Norway. http://www.manchesterairport.co.uk

    Robin Hood Airport, Doncaster http://www.robinhoodairport.com/ Doncaster Rail Station is the closest station, situated just 7 miles away. A dedicated shuttle service combined with a frequent local services link the Airport to Doncaster Rail Station. A direct regular train service to York and Leeds that takes less than 30 minutes .

    Humberside Airport http://www.humbersideairport.com/ Hull railway station is about 30 minutes by bus followed by around a 1 hour train journey to York and Leeds.

    Liverpool John Lennon Airport  http://www.liverpoolairport.com/  and Newcastle Airport http://www.newcastleairport.com/ are around 2 hours or less by train from York and Leeds. Ryanair flies directly from Oslo Norway to Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

    Lowcost carriers such as SAS, Thomsonfly.com, Ryanair, Wizzair, Flybe and Jet2.com often have good value fares from destinations throughout Europe.
